Our Strategy
 

At Kidz 2000 And Beyond, we are striving for a national awareness movement to be forged by a media- driven strategy to help victims of child abuse. A positive change for the new millennium, with an issue that needs to be desperately addressed, a problem that nobody can ignore.

This will be acheived through a high profile music

concert, plus a campaign providing resources as well as messages that promote world-wide awareness, responsibility and action. The steps of the strategy are as follows:
  • Create a focused awareness in the national and international consciousness.
  • Fund raising and distribution.

KIDZ 2000 And Beyond will seek opportunities to incite national and international involvement using, but not limiting to, the power of the media such as concerts, television, print, music, radio, the internet and seminars.

KIDZ 2000 And Beyond aims to unite other existing organizations in order to work together as a powerful movement.


The following are examples of some of the key communication experiences:

SYMBOL:
Every movement needs a symbol. KIDZ 2000 And Beyond has developed a symbol that is simple and easy to recognize.
  CONCERTS:
The values espoused by musicians are often adopted and shared by their fans and, since many fans are young, the communcation benefits of worldwide televised concerts extend well beyond the events themselves.

TOLL-FREE GLOBAL NUMBER:
KIDZ 2000 And Beyond will have a toll-free global number that will be easy for children to remember, as well as a media campaign throughout the schools and establishments that children attend.
  WEBSITE:
KIDZ 2000 And Beyond's website will serve as a resource network and a primary gathering place that will give individuals the information and resources to immediately become participants against child abuse. Live Internet discussions will be conducted to help raise the issue awareness. Local groups will be able to exchange information, share strategies and collectively organize.
ADVERTISING:
KIDZ 2000 And Beyond will execute advertising that will be appealing to people of all ages and that will symbolize a child's needs. Both television and print advertising will occur on both a pro-bono and paid basis as media channels become sympathetic and enthusiastic to KIDZ 2000 And Beyond's message and vision.
  SEMINARS:
Based upon KIDZ 2000 And Beyond's kick-off concert success, KIDZ 2000 And Beyond will hold seminars all across the nation in order to spread awareness, help the victims of child abuse, collaborate and exchange ideas, build morale, educate people on the prevention of child abuse and provide information as to what is offered in their city and state.
